The Turkish currency is the Lira, however, you can pay nearly everywhere in
Euro and US Dollars.
However, you will probably get your change in Lira, based on the daily exchange rate.
The best place to exchange your Euros into Turkish lira is in Turkey as the local exchange rate is far better.
Don’t change very large amounts all at once as the exchange rate varies from day to day.
You can pay by credit/debit card, however, price negotiation will often be impossible and you will have to pay a fee to your bank which can vary considerably - so check before you buy!!
